FOR EMPLOYERS

Give your team healthcare they’ll actually use.

You sponsor the membership. Your employees keep the insurance they have — and the copays, deductibles and coinsurance their insurers assign for eligible in-house services at participating facilities are paid by their membership, not by them.

Talk to us about sponsoring

HealthPass is not insurance and not a group health plan. A sponsored membership works alongside the insurance your employees keep — it never replaces any insurance you offer, and sponsoring it does not satisfy any legal obligation an employer may have to provide health insurance. Sponsored employees must have qualifying insurance (commercial, Medicare, VA, or TRICARE) active at all times.

HealthPass is not insurance. It's a membership that works alongside the insurance you already have — never in place of it.

WHY EMPLOYERS SPONSOR IT

Three reasons it lands.

A perk people feel

Insurance is abstract until the bill arrives. A membership that makes those bills not arrive is the kind of perk your team talks about.

Care sooner, not later

When the cost question disappears at participating ERs, urgent care and clinics, people stop postponing the visit they needed.

One predictable line item

You’re invoiced under one Employer Group Agreement — nothing to administer per visit, and nothing for your team to file.

HOW IT WORKS FOR EMPLOYERS

The same mechanic, from your side of it.

The copays, deductibles, and coinsurance your insurer assigns for eligible in-house services at participating facilities are paid by your membership — so those bills never come to you.

1 · One agreement

Sign the Employer Group Agreement and tell us who you’re sponsoring — name, date of birth and email for each person.

2 · We invite your team

Each sponsored employee gets a link, or can use your enrollment code themselves. They finish a short enrolment in the portal — who they are, their own insurance, and their agreement to the membership terms. They never enter payment information, because there is nothing for them to pay.

3 · They walk in like always

Participating facilities bill each member’s insurer as usual, and the membership pays the patient responsibility assigned for eligible in-house services. You’re invoiced per the agreement. Your employees are never billed by us for anything.

You don’t fill anything in on their behalf, and you don’t see what they enter.

Clear about what’s in — and what’s not.

WHAT YOU’RE BUYING, PLAINLY

Five things worth knowing before you ask us anything.

  • A seat per employee, at a fixed annual price agreed with us before anything starts.
  • One invoice a month, covering every seat that is occupied. Nothing is charged for an empty seat.
  • Your staff pay nothing. Not a share, not a co-payment to us, nothing at renewal. The membership fee is yours in full — that is written into the Employer Group Agreement, and the system refuses to be configured any other way.
  • They keep their own insurance, and must, for the whole time they’re on the membership. That is a condition of the membership, not a preference.
  • You never see their medical information. You see who is on a seat and what the seat costs. Their care, their insurance details and their bills are theirs.

WHAT IT COSTS

Straightforward, per-member pricing.

Seat prices are agreed per employer, not published, because they depend on the group and on the insurance your team carries. Nothing is charged until an agreement is signed and your first employee is on a seat. Request a consultation and a Program Specialist will talk it through with you and agree a price for your roster.

BILLING

And what happens if a payment is late.

An invoice is raised monthly for occupied seats and is due in 15 days. Card or bank transfer.

If one goes unpaid we will contact you before anything changes, and nothing is automatic: a person at our end decides, not a scheduled job. Your staff are not told that a payment is late, and if a membership does have to pause, the message they get does not suggest they are at fault — because they aren’t.

LEAVING, JOINING, CHANGING

People move. This is what happens.

  • Somebody leaves. Take them off the roster and the seat comes back. Their membership ends with it — cleanly, on the day, rather than running on at your cost.
  • Somebody wants to keep it. They can carry on paying for it themselves, at the published rate for their level rather than yours. If your seat had unused time on it, that value goes to them as credit against their own first payment, not back to you.
  • Somebody already has their own membership and joins your company. They keep the one they have and move onto your roster — one membership, not two.

NOT INSURANCE — AGAIN, IN YOUR TERMS

What this is not.

This is not insurance and it is not an employee health plan. It does not replace anyone’s insurance, it cannot be offered instead of insurance, and it says nothing about any obligation you may have as an employer. Every member must keep qualifying insurance — commercial, Medicare, VA, or TRICARE — active for the whole time they are a member. For anything about how a sponsored membership sits alongside what you already offer, talk to your own benefits or tax advisor. We can’t advise you on that and won’t try.

EMPLOYER FAQ

Six questions HR asks first.

Is this health insurance, or a replacement for what we offer?

No — neither. HealthPass is a healthcare membership. It is not insurance, not a group health plan, and it never replaces the insurance you offer; in fact your employees must keep qualifying insurance active to be members.

Does sponsoring this satisfy any requirement to offer insurance?

No. Sponsoring HealthPass memberships does not satisfy any legal obligation an employer may have to provide health insurance.

What do employees pay?

Nothing — ever. No enrollment cost, no payment information collected, no bills from us. You’re invoiced under the Employer Group Agreement; that’s the only money path.

Which employees can be sponsored?

Anyone 18 or over with active qualifying insurance — your group insurance, or their own commercial insurance, Medicare, VA, or TRICARE. Medicaid, catastrophic-only products, travelers insurance, and short-term insurance under a year don’t qualify, and neither does having no insurance.

Do we see anything about our employees’ care?

No. Your invoice reflects memberships, never care. Visits, diagnoses, and bills stay between your employee, their providers, and their insurer.

What happens when someone leaves the company?

Take them off the roster: the seat comes back to you, and their membership ends the same day. They can choose to carry it on themselves, at the published rate — and any unused time on the seat goes to them as credit, not back to you. The Employer Group Agreement and each member’s Sponsored Member Agreement set the full terms, and we’ll walk you through them before you sign.
